According to Headset Inc., most U.S. customers spend about $25-$50 on a trip to the marijuana shop. Within the same year, the average amount each US user spends on cannabis products is around $645 a year. Approximately 48% of all cannabis users invest between $500 and $2,500 a year. But based on New Frontier Data in 2019, it was reported that US consumers spend $5.8 billion a month on marijuana products. That's about $206.5 million a day, or $1.45 billion a week.

In addition, Recent Frontier Data also revealed that revenue from the illicit cannabis industry was projected to have produced $70 billion in revenue in 2019. But the US legal medical and recreational cannabis industry amounted to $13.6 billion in the same year and is estimated to reach $29.7 billion in 2025. Overall, the estimated total demand for cannabis in the U.S. in 2019 (both legal and black market sales) is $83.6 billion. According to Eaze, US consumers placed a cannabis order every 8 seconds.
